    Hi vengat83, I am having the same timelines as yours. My spouse has sent passport on 23rd Jan 2012 and send some additional documents on 23rd March. We have not heard anything since then. And our e-Cas online status still shows as 'Appication Received'. What does your online status say?

    The online status does not seem to be accurate. In my case, they have received my wife's passport on 23rd Feb and the status still shows as application received. But actually it is in process. How come they request the passports/fees without looking into file?

    I think it depends on your circumstances. Has your spouse stayed in Canada anytime before? The Police Clearance Certificate for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more is required.
