The status will not change when the profile is already "ineligible". You should make a new profile and correct all the mistakes as to make the profile eligible.

okay I will try this. I am on my 2nd EE profile now because the 1st profile ended ineligible despite being eligible in the online evaluation before making the 1st profile. I hope this one gets through. Will give you guys update. Thanks!

that would be very risky. they don't even know how long the process will take before the visa arrives, so why book the ticket ahead?

according to my mom's application receipt (attached to her passport when her visa arrived) their visa was applied June 11, 2013. Yes, they asked for medical exam. My parents both took the medical exam since the requests came together. So I really wonder why my dad's visa hasn't arrived together...

My parents applied for Visitor Visa last June. We understand that the visa processing will take a while because of the strike. But just 2 weeks ago August 14, my mom's visa came without my dad's visa. Is this possible? I believe that a couple's application for visa is considered one application...
