Looking at the spread sheet, there hasn't been much movement recently. I suppose this has to do with the strikes. I don't dare doing anything remotely like this at work myself. The rest of us normies are having to continue to work hard under the harshest of circumstances...

Man all this tax money I pay, I would have hoped would go towards making the lives of these government workers and services in Canada better. That's the whole premise of taxes, isn't it?

Looking at the spreadsheet, March and April have been slower compared to the uptick we saw across the board late 2022 and early 2023. I wish them all well, but I hope the strikes don't go on for a long time.

IRCC like many other companies is probably busy trying to figure out how to integrate GPT and Large Language Models into their infrastructure. Joking of course, or so one hopes.

Thanks. I'm pretty certain about my physical presence calculations, as I had not left Canada in during the period that I reported. Most of it I spent at home anyways due to the pandemic. :D For me it means a lot to become a Canadian citizen, hence why I applied the day after I became legally...

Thanks for the info. They haven't requested any information from me, and when I called IRCC the agent told me there's nothing wrong with my application and they have all the info they need. Hopefully I'll get some update soon.

1096 up to and including the day before I filed my application.

No update since Feb 28 from Vancouver office. All completed but Physical Presence which is still in progress. Called IRCC last week, and they advised me that my application is in progress and I should be patient.

Firstly, you are far ahead of many. I don't think many applications have seen much movement in the last couple of weeks. It's probably due to spring break period. Hopefully soon we'll hear some news.

How many days physical presence do you have? I suppose they're checking with CBSA or something to ensure accuracy of the reported dates. So hopefully there will be an update soon.
