Springtime question for you. Any new changes in the process with the ceremony with the new bill C-24. I mean do you have to sign obligation to reside in Canada. Thanks

Congratulations springtime... I now understand only 60 people that a very small number. Anyone else with some good news to share with regards to oath date.

Voilà the bill C24 got the Royal Assent yesterday... Now we would have to watch out its impact on applications in progress...

I agree with you jimmysky... Why do we have to wait. We would not be discussing... At least one person in this forum would say yes I got it and prove us wrong... ..

I have a feeling CIC Montreal is waiting for Bill C-24, to take complete control, as is now in its final stages...

This is quiet frustrating of not getting any update from CIC Montreal, With 31 ceremonies... I am really curious of people who are invited for the upcoming ceremonies. I feel only in Montreal we are facing this problem, compared to other provinces specially in Scarborough region get there...

Thank you. But if I calculate since 28 May CJ has my file that's two week by now. I keep my fingers crossed. Since CIC notifies two weeks in advance before oath ceremony. And also 24 June is holiday they should send oath ceremony latest by next week. For 1st July date.
