Well, at least something is going on with the BA VO. We haven't received anything from them by mail or email. The only email was that sponsorship was approved. If I check the website, it says that they received the file. I guess nothing much to do other than enjoy the summer... :)

Hola, I didn't email or called. I guess, since they didn't send anything it's because they're not working on my case. But, I'm not that desperate because I'm here in Canada already. I have sent emails inquiries to the embassy in BA and they usually reply within 24 hours. Let me know how it goes.

I just checked their website and it says: Permanent Residence Application Status: We received the application for permanent residence on May 24, 2011. I'll ask my dad if he received anything in the mail.

I don't think they use Canada Post to send it to the VO. They must use some kind of internal mail (diplomatic or such). Maybe that's why it takes so long sometimes for the application to get processed?

Hi malirca, Our application for sponsorship was approved on May 5th, about a month after we sent it to mississauga. It says it's in its way to Buenos Aires.. Not sure how long that's going to take. Cheers
