Just talked to an IRCC Agent since 7 months have passed now. He said that the application is a routine one and should have done under 7 months and since it is still sitting in Sydney office and nothing has started since August, he will message the officers to get an idea.

MP contacted on my behalf and my LPP was not scheduled yet. They will follow up again in March 2025. I have also applied for ATIP notes.

Contacted IRCC by phone today and asked for an update. They couldn’t provide any update and said it’s not 7 months yet. She did mention that this application doesn’t come under ‘non routing’ and everything looks good. LPP hasn’t started since August 28. January 23rd will be 7 months.

I am not sure if they have pickup option for new citizens but with Canada Post being on strike, Its unlikely to get it before your trip as far as I know.

I have tried contacting them via webform and all I get is a general response that they are processing. We can't do much regarding this particular application as the processing time is 7 months and we are still at 5 months.
