This is my 3rd work permit under 2 passports for Canada, each one was stapled to my passport with not another application to apply for Ill be sure to check though, perhaps it is because the country i'm from . Who knows.

Right, ok, thanks for clarifying. Must be a different permit, as i've been using my current one for 2 years to re enter canada with no issue. Will wait until this new extension one comes though and verify.Thanks

Hi there, I was under the impression a work permit can be used just like a visa to leave and re enter Canada? Where does it say you'll need to apply for a Visa in order to travel outside of Canada and how long does it take to get this Visa?
