They consider any application that goes over the normal processing time, non-routin. It doesn't really mean anything, it's just a term they use for applications that are not finalized within their average timeline.

This is a very high number, Mandamus normally costs less than 10,000 unless your situation is complicated. There are several steps and lawyers normally charge per step. I'd say don't get discouraged by the number and search for other lawyers. Alternatively, you can self represent for the first...

I'd say it's more like 18-22 months. I am at 17 months right now and still waiting. Some are waiting since Jan-March 2023.

Oct 2023 AOR here, physical and language were finally completed last week! BG and prohibitions are still pending.

Hey guys, finaly some movement in my application after 15 months of absolute silence. My language and physical turned green yesterday. Hopefully that's a good sign :)

Sep 2023 applicant here, mine was also moved from Montreal to Vancouver, it was moved once before from Niagara to Montreal. Seems like they are gathering all the none routine applications in Vancouver.

It's probably your criminality that got expired after 1 year and passed again. The same happened to me last month, I submitted my application in Sep 2023.

They can't do anything anyways. Have you considered Mandamus?

I saw two people clear SS recently, April and March 2023 AOR. The average time keeps getting higher :(
