Police verification for my PCC was completed on 27th March in local police station. The status in passport portal(consulate) website still shows "Police verification has been initiated....." and so on. I'm planning to ask my parents to try reach out to SP office if I don't get any update until...

As far as I see from the information shared in this thread, it takes at least 2 weeks from the day police verification completed in India, for the next status as "Police Clearance Certificate has been printed ". And for some it takes around 3 weeks.

Not yet. Still same status "PCC initiated ....." And the police verification from Local police station was completed @ 27th March

I think you meant to ask @dsthapak Police verification completed for me on 27th March and no change in the status so far

Most probably BLS got the certificate and working on to dispatch it

For how long you are seeing this status in BLS website? it might be in process to send it to you.

Application Type should be selected as "Passport Application" for PCC

I didnt receive any email regarding tracking readiness. I just checked the "check application status" once in a while in blsindia-canada website.

Embassy got the report from Police. the next step will be printing the Police Clearance Certificate

I guess, we can directly walk-in to the SP office. Or else, you can request someone(if you know them well and ready to help) in the local police station to check with SP and they should have some friends in SP Office. Not everyone has friends in Police station, we dont have any other choice...
