Hi. I just got a response too directly in my CIC account on web form I raised to upload additional documents proving medical emergency

I was able to get across to them yesterday but I called exactly at 8am and waited 30 minutes. It was however almost pointless because she only said what all the webforms have been saying

Why did they stop processing applications I think that’s too wrong. We have emergencies to travel for!

congratulations and thanks for responding . Are you on a study permit ? Or a work permit? Just so we can place how long they take depending on status. Also how long did wait for your passport request after the eligibility review started please? I applied Dec 4 so this gave me good morale

I haven’t gotten a passport request. I was asking about the date of his initial request for the TRV.

Hi @Kingdom2018 Can I please know when you submitted your request for your TRV. I submitted Dec 4th and have a flight for Jan 20th. Want to know if I’m within the average recent processing time.

Thanks for the response. However Just to clarify. Did you say you got a new TRV using that form (5545)? I know it was a long time ago but that’s similar to the form (imm5009) that I filled and got only the study permit. I have applied for new TRV now with form now 5708 awaiting response.

Hi Azp6680 I have the exact same issue that you had. I lost my passport. Got a new passport. Applied to replace my TRV but I got issued a study permit instead. The study permit also got to me today and still has the old passport number which doesn’t even make any sense. I’d like to please know...
