My employer owns several shops in the same province and he is saying that he may need to assign me to a different location, not stated on our LMIA although it's within the same province. Is this alright, would it affect our work permit application? Do we need to do anything?

I suppose the rationale is, to show enough money to support yourself until you get your first pay check from your employer.

I don't think there's a specific requirement for funds for a work permit application. However, as advised by our immigration agent it's always best to show funds. It will depend if solo applicant or you're bringing your family with you. What is your Noc?

This is so informative and helpful. I will contact and reach out to daycare centers to ask about being waitlisted even if we're still waiting for our visas. Hopefully they'd accept even if it requires a waitlist fee. You may need to look at care in someone’s home - Will also look into this

Yes daycare - Can we arrange or email daycare centers while we wait for our visa approvals? We are in Ecuador with 15 weeks processing timeline as of the moment

We applied for LMIA low skilled work permit applications last Dec 21, 2022 my medical status says PASSED however for my husband and son it hasn't updated yet. Is this normal? How much time does it take for it to update and for PPR?
