I find this a bit ridiculous honestly. For a country that prides itself on equality and human rights, returning family reunification over minor clerical errors - that too depending on how a particular visa officer is feeling that day - is not right. We mock US all the time for breaking families...

If I'm both the sponsor and representative of the principal applicant, can I link the application before AOR (using name and birth date) or do I have to wait till AOR?

I found that out afterward when I was going through this forum. Honestly when preparing the application I only used the IRCC website and phoned their agents for help if I needed it - I went through the Basic Guide top to bottom and nowhere in their online guide for spouse sponsorship application...

There seems to be a lot of variation in their criteria - many people said they used abbreviations for work addresses and still got AOR. Could it be something else? It seems like an awfully petty thing to do to return the entire application over something so minor.
