Update: received reply on 2nd Feb. My request got rejected on the basis of travel being non-discretionary. Can someone who has got it approved tell me what have you sent in the email? Especially the reason for travel

My husband said he chose less than 6 months when applying for the TRV and in the mail I sent I mentioned all due reasons. Guess they’re expecting more I heard they’re giving preference to SOWP over TRV not sure though... so I might apply for SOWP and withdraw this application

I just got a refusal mail today saying, my purpose of travel is non discretionary Can you please tell me what did you mention in your mail as the purpose of travel?

I had resent one on jan 18, even my TRV is in progress... until when is your spouses visa valid? My spouse recently got BOWP... not sure if that’s the reason why I did t hear back

What was the average wait time for receiving the response from them for the authorisation letters? Also when is your visa expiring? (Not sure if it’s expiring soon there will be any issue)

That’s what the Website states as well... that sending too many mails will delay the process... with you being in an emergency travel situation for how long can you wait? I’d say it’s okay to send 2... try raising a webform for your application if you’ve already tried other means like MP reach...

Thank you so much for clear explanation. I’ll ask my spouse to reach out to the MP. The wait time is too long these days... they’re giving priority to student visas and work visas. Even I’ve been waiting for their reply... I mailed them twice and no reply so far. hopefully we get some traction...
