Damn! That's crazy! I can't even remember the amount of webforms and calls I've done since March 2021. Except for 1 webform, no replies. And calls give you the same standard reply on repeat. It's all so frustrating

Indeed. It's all chaos. Wish there was atleast some way to contact the officer directly or atleast that department to remind them to process our applications!

My med expired in April 2021. Since then it only showed that I don't require a medical check and they'll inform me if that changes. Other than biometrics and few other lines, nothing shows approved. Eligibility, background check, final decision all pending.

Hence I guess it's just an automated message to all pending applications. I got excited at first thinking that they are finally processing my application

Yes. I received it too. While initially thinking that it was about my application alone, later I realized that it could be an automated message for all pending applications since I learned that others received the same message.

Are you comfortable saying what kind of documents? Is it something new? And yours or your dependent's? Well I hope they give you time to get those.

True, mine as well. Medical expired on Apr/24. The wheel seems broken for me.

Did they ask you to do a new medical?

Ohh. Thank you for sharing that. I didn't know. Sorry. But wouldn't that also mean that they will be keenly examining the application and it might piss them off?

What's that way? I don't think you can force anything when it comes to IRCC. Maybe you're thinking of requesting a reply by involving an MP but even that doesn't help. They'll give the exact same answer as you get through webforms/calls .

I feel the exact same way. That the officer either quit or retired and my application is now just stuck somewhere in the system and it's not alloted to anyone. Atleast you know your application is approved. Since getting GCMS notes doesn't speed up the process, I didn't get them. And now I'm too...

Can you not have 2 applications at once? Do you have to withdraw your old application to submit a new one?

Do you know of anyone else in the same situation? Because almost everyone I know have received their PR even if they applied much later in November 2020 and Jan 2021.

Has any June 2020 inland applicant received any updates? My boss's wife got her approval even though she applied under spousal and the estimated normal processing time for such applications is 18 months.

Ohh okay. I wonder why mine is on hold because I'm inland with no dependents.

That's great to know! What is your AOR again? They requested an additional document from me back in Nov 2020 and I haven't heard anything since. Even my eligibility is still showing in process

I think this was 2 months ago. Not sure why other June applicants aren't getting it.

Thank you. But it's so damn difficult to be hopeful. It's over a year now. I've spent 5 years of my life just trying to get PR and it's still not given to me yet. There are so many responsibilities that I need to take care of but this thing has put a halt on everything. It's so frustrating and...
