I did not get a bank statement. I did get an employment letter. I just asked my HR department and they gave it to me the next day.

I don't think you'll get a notice of assessment that quickly, will you? Mine tend to take a month or more. I would apply with 2019 and if they ask for 2020 then provide it. No point in delaying the submission by a month or more, especially when the process is already taking as long as it is.

I think they stated the possibility of an interview just as a disclaimer. It doesn't sound like they actually intend on requesting one. I would take it as good news: at least you're out of LVO. Good luck.

I contacted my MP and got the typical response that it was because of covid. The only interesting point was that they assured me that my wife's file was still being processed in Sydney, NS and that because of covid the different visa offices and case processing centers tend to share workload...

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do outside of making a stink with the media. My file was submitted in November 2019 and forwarded to LVO in January 2021, so at least you aren't alone.

I got an email on Thursday saying the file has been transferred to London. I also emailed my MP about the status of my wife's file in December and I was told it was being processed in CPC Sydney.

We'll deal with that when we get there. My foremost concern right now is getting the pre arrival.

My wife's file was finally transferred to London after 14 months. We applied in Nov 2019. This is the longest gap between application submission and transfer to LVO that I have seen. Hopefully the remaining process goes by faster.

They mean that the sponsor has gotten DM (meaning sponsor approval) but the principal applicant is still in process. This is normal for everybody. If you go to ECAS and put in the sponsor's UCI and info it will show decision made for you too.

It's now been over one year since I submitted my application and still no AoR2. In October my MP said the application was in CPC Sydney. No idea what's going on.
