I don't think that's true....it depends from countries, for some it is valid for 3-6 months for some it doesn't have an expiry date. For example, I needed one for Nigeria and in the actual PCC was mentioned the expiry date.

I raised one in January and received a response yesterday, 3 months later, and it was basically a bullshit generic response like "your application is in process" something I already knew....what a waste of time.

It appears 22 months is based on the dynamic times not standard ones meaning that’s how long it took for the last 6 months and it will be updated every week. I think we all knew what was happening due to covid screw up but hopefully moving forward this 22 months will not hold as ircc are...
