Don't worry it happen with my sister and they sent passport with stamp but today she got letter to apply for PR card

Timeline for TRV Application was applied on 15 Nov PASSPORT Request on 15 Dec PASSPORT received by CIC on 17 Dec Status changed to approved on 15 Jan Called cic to confirm and they said PASSPORT sticker has been printed will be mailed out by the end of today or tomorrow

Yeah i called today to get full info so new dehli office is not working in full capacity so they are not stamping or finishing the final step of the files which processed in india so they said we have to until they open fully and allow them to send confirmation of PR to spouse which are in india.

Did u got the call from cic officer too

Is your spouse out of canada ?

I have read other posts with similar case like me when spouse are outside canada that cic officers are calling explaining the situation that file is etc etc and why they can't approve and you have to wait.

I think so because the call that got was from ON number and then i called the cic number to confirm and they said everything is done all looks good just approval need to be done.. which they are not doing in case in which spouse is in different countries due to covid travel restrictions

Where is you spouse ? India or in canada

Yeah my file is in winnipeg from july 2019 and received email from winnipeg office last year in aug for additional documents but the call that i received today was from Ontario number.

So today i got call from cic officer and she said that my file is all good we have completed all the step like background etc and she told that me and my spouse passed everything but the will be not approve the PR right now bcz my spouse is in india and indian office are only stamping files...
