    Have you seen the latest Visa Processing Time from IRCC? Study permit processing is now only 9 weeks coming from 12 weeks. I wonder if the 9 weeks applies to newer / recent applications or will past applications be covered by this timeline? I applied last May 4th and still have not heard anything.

    Still waiting brother. Submitted last May 4th for myself, wife and child. Nothing has moved since then. Getting anxious and if nothing moves by July 15, will have to look into Jan'23 deferral already.

    Questions regarding SDS processing time and passport stamping.

    I won't be too confident given the tight timelines. A lot of SDS applicants here have submitted as early as March and still have not received their study permits. I submitted SDS last Ma 4 and my application has not yet moved at all.
