Hi, Uness i am wrong, the usual visitor's visa is a NON-IMMIGRANT VISA (NIV) and not an immigrant visa (IV). So i dont think you did anything amiss in stating 'No'. Unless the visa type you applied for at the US consulate was an immigrant fine; you dont have any issues. Hope this helps.

Hi, You can visit or call the GT connect centre to enable your mastercard for international POS transactions. There shouldnt be any issues after that as long as your account is adequately funded.

So use your debit card. I used a debit card and i was charged. Just make sure its activated for international POS transactions by your bank.

Why not re-apply? You really have nothing to lose at this stage. You may even be able to enhance your application using all you've learnt from this forum from the time you applied to date. Try again.

@aish 19, No the card pin was not required on the payment form. and yes, debit cards are acceptable.
