An update. I called CIC yesterday and they said the documents were recieved on the 21 October 2019 and they are being reviewed at the local office. This is really frustrating.

I have heard that many people use the web form and get accepted. If anyone can share, please tell us your experience.

I saw that most people under 3 years were being sent to secondary reviews. But I dont get why my kids' file was, even though they had been living 4 years. This is really frustrating and we dont even know how long they will take.

What was your reason? Did you provide the appropriate proof? How long did it take for them to reply? Did you use the web from or send documents?

I think it's the one in Hamilton. Did you contact a lawyer or someone to know if there is a way out. Since I have plans, I am certainly thinking to apply for urgent processing? Anyone has experience with that?

I would say 99% its accepted because usually they dont deny that quick

My kids lived here since 4 years with their mom and we sent all school reports etc. I have been living since past 2.5 years. That's the reason we sent separate applications because we were expecting a secondary review for me BUT NOT for my kids.

Nope, mines is in secondary review too. I applied for mine back in April and was asked for the same documents. Then mine went for secondary review in September.

This seems hard but there might be a possibility. Seems very hard tho since it's only 2 weeks away
