Basically they need some proof that u have been connected or together. Bank statement is the easiest. I don't know how easy it is for a gay couple to have a joint bank account in ur country.

PPR mail is passport request mail, and when u send ur passport to visa office or VFS they return ur passport with one time entry visa and a Confirmation of PR letter (Landing paper).

@ Nawalasansol, what I understand Landing date is decided based on ur medical date. If I see ur , ur med date has to be between 19 and 21 Sept. Did you give medical beforehand?

I would recommend you to wait for your PPR and then resign. Just check other forums where applicants are waiting for months (surpassing the 6 month mark as well). Due to heavy rush of applicants, IRCC's average processing time has increased. I do hope and wish that 4 month benchmark of...
