After we spoke to the agent who agreed there was a mistake we sent a copy of his boarding pass of arriving in Canada (mid June- no stamp in passport), we also sent when he applied for his extension (late October) and the copy of his visa extension that he received in early January. After...

I'm the November applicant and once they realized it was a mistake for my husband we got the OWP about a week later...received in the mail yesterday. We did send a webform as well with his plane ticket landing in Canada, his visa extension as well to show that he was in status.

Quebec people- who did you use to do your taxes? I have been waiting for my husband to get his OWP and SIN number before we do them. Been in Canada since June 2018 but haven't done taxes since I left Canada in 2007. Any advice of anyone in Montreal that speaks English would be greatly appreciated.

yes it says processing but that is about it at this time.

We called again this morning and the amazing lady we spoke to said it was a definite mistake and that everything was done correctly with my husbands application and he was in status since he has arrived. She spoke to her supervisor who has also agreed and they will reevaluate my husband's file...

We are putting in a request as to WHY the officer deems my husband to be ineligible and submitting all the documents that MAYBE might be been missed (especially his extension). Grasping at straws and hoping someone helps look at our file one more time because a mistake has been made somewhere!!!

His extension was given until end of June....PR applications are moving along but we are in Montreal and NO one from September or October living in Quebec has had any luck. I feel like the cards are against us :-( I NEVER thought it would be like this....our application seemed so easy :-(
