    September 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

When (on which processing stage) Sydney sends case files to local IRCC offices? For example, after BG Checks are completed? Or is there no rule/regularity for that? As you may have noticed, the processing of my case is slower than the processing of other applicants' case in our September 2020...

    September 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

Hello. I have some questions: I live in Newfoundland. Is my IRCC office in St. John's? I have seen somewhere that you were saying at some point the file is sent to a local IRCC office. When is the file sent to the local IRCC office? Does it matter in terms of the speed of processing which...

Guys I have a question: Chat does it mean, "Background Verification Completed"? Does it mean, criminality is completed? Does it mean, security screening is completed? Or does it mean both criminality AND security are completed? Can anybody who knows the subject matter give me a clear answer?

    March 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

Hi guys. I need advice: I have completed the application package (2 adults and 2 kids). Now I am wondering whether I should send it by regular mail (to mail box 7000) or by courier (to 49 Dorchester Street). And if courier, which one would you recommend? Thanks in advance.

Sorry buddy, but I truly don't know. It is hard to say. I haven't been following the forum in detail since January. I had the telephone-landing. What I know is that it takes quite long till NL local office schedules landing appointments. Good luck.

I correct: 13 December 2017, telephone landing. It is the date that is written by the immigration officer on my COPR document. The interview took place 2 days before the landing date (on 11 December).

You can request CSIS about getting an update of your case as you ask IRCC (on the basis of Privacy Act). They send you a letter explaining what they have done. They explained in their letter they sent to me that they already completed security screen and an advise had been sent to CBSA and IRCC...

I got an email from IRCC for telephonic landing after getting COPR

The technical category of the letter they sent me is REGULAR PARCEL. It is very slow, but has a 16 digit tracking number (like Xpress one). Delivery between Canadian provinces (national) takes up to 9 days (weekend and holidays not included). Good thing is that it is as safe as the Xpress. The...
