That person was denied extension because at that time Canada had not implemented travel restrictions and neither did most countries. Now the situation all over the world has drastically changed.

I don't know how much longer you are going to drag this, but whatever. We all appreciate the efforts that the Canadian Govt. has been putting to ease out the situation. Rather than criticizing others, lets all pray that this virus comes to an end soon.

Soooo both outbound and inbound flights have been banned in many countries, airlines are not flying to Canada and corona is still at large, BUT STILL they want us COPR holders to travel??

To some extent you are right. But the issue right now is Canadian Govt. itself is not allowing COPR holders to travel which is an entirely different scenario. COPR holders who wanted to travel within the expiration date now cannot travel because of this decision.

I believe this is an old information. They have yet to make an announcement.
