I keep seeing people who submitted on Nov 15th getting approved and I'm here like "What about me?!" They shouldn't make us send passports if they know they can't process them in a reasonable time. This isn't fair.

This is ridiculous. Holiday plans have effectively been destroyed...my flight left this morning after my passport has sat in Ottawa for over a month without even showing approved in myCIC. This is madness.

I'm still waiting for my approval. Any idea how long it takes once the visa is printed in your passport?

I have called several times. It's highly dependent on what agent you get and what information they give you. Some are more lenient and will provide more information given the circumstances. I just hope mine gets mailed out today.

I already rescheduled a flight from Sunday, it's been over a month. Both my COPR and sticker have been printed. I don't get what the holdup is! myCIC profile still says processing :(

Spoke to an agent this morning. PP Delivered to Ottawa: Nov 15th COPR Printed: December 1st Visa printed in PP: December 12th myCIC status right now: "Processing" Canada Post Tracker: Not activated yet. Anyone have a similar timeline?

Did anyone call CIC and they said the application was approved but myCIC account has not changed?? Any idea if that can happen? If it's in the printing room, how long does it usually stay there?
