Don't WORRY about the election! They cannot change decisions that were made previously. They can only change rules moving forward. Anyone who got approval letters from IRCC are safe!

We got our medical requests after submitting biometrics. It was fast. They asked for medicals on the same day when we submitted biometrics.

Progress update: Sent application around first week of May. Finished Biometrics and just passed medicals! Currently waiting for police clearance certificate request from IRCC. Should we start preparing those police certificates or is IRCC letter required to get a police certificate?

I think the progress bar update is more likely implemented to discourage people who are calling to inquire about their application status. Be patient! It's going to take some time. Truth is most of our applications will be done only in the next year. I totally understand why many of us are...

Just got my progress bar update. `You may not hear from us for a little while, this is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date.` Estimated completion date: May 6, 2021 All right folks, I'll be back to this forum in early 2021. hehehe

Looks like IRCC is processing applications in batches. They just took 1 week to process applications received on May 6th and few May 7th files. If that holds, people who submitted on June 1st should expect to wait up to 3 months for their files to be processed.

I just got a letter from IRCC stating the following: Your application has been accepted under the intake cap for 2019 Did anyone receive a similar letter from them?

Looks like this week CIC will be processing files received between May 6 - 7th.
