I went to the border and re-entered Canada. Everything went smoothly. The Canadian officers were not in a good mood since too many people came for landing. Altogether it took 1 hour and I became PR. Nothing special happened. They did not ask for anything except for my permits.

Mine was received there on 18th and still no news. I think there is no problem with your envelope and it has been received by them. You only need to wait. The problem is that even if you email them, it takes at least 2 weeks for them to read it.

One of my friends applied for work permit recently and he went to his doctor and got the duplicate copy of his medical (he did it for immigration).

Sorry. I thoght you already have PER. If not, you cannot do anything now until you get PER. If it is easy, prepare the updated one, if not, i think the current one should be fine since its date is close to the date that CIO received your application.

Why haven't you sent it yet? Because they will finally ask for it. I think it is better to send it soon.

My best advice for you is to find a job first. Apply for post graduate work permit and apply for job. Then you will have a work experience and can easily apply for immigration. As soon as you find a job, there are different ways for you to apply: for example Canadian experience or even skilled...
