I received biometric refund just now ( I was exempt as I had previously given in 2019). Looks like good news is on the way :) May be thats why system could be down.

I would suggest to check the authenticity and then answer question , nowadays we are seeing lots of scams. So be cautious. It could be legitimate also however better to confirm before.

Even mine is in similar status AOR: June 19, 2020 Medical: Passed August 15, 2020 Biometric: Completed on Oct 15, 2020 (Seems like my wife exempted even though she did not provide Biometric earlier) Not sure what could be the timeline and what would be the process for us. :-)

Am in similar situation. AOR 19 June. My WP Biometric details are updated in my profile but wife’s seems to be empty. So I believe we need to wait till VAC opens.

I would suggest everyone to drop a query about Biometric to CIC/IRCC. If the wait is too long, then PCC and Medicals might expire and have to go through that again which becomes additional work and money. Hope this make's sense.

So In that case, I was on work permit in Canada so am exempt from Biometric as previous is still valid , but my spouse has to give as she never travelled to Canada. :) Am I right ?

I think since you need to give biometrics , the status has changed to 'your action required'.
