Don't be worry...I had same situation too. But I found that my optional doc file was uploaded under supporting doc at the client information area...please have a look and tell me if it is so for your application too?

In optional documents area in the visa application, there were two things to upload during visa filing..one is client information and the other is optional document...i just skip the client information as it is also optional and uploaded all my extra documents e.g bank statement, police...

If u are going to get ur refund prior to decision of study permit then u have to keep undereye the deadline of ur college refund policy but if u got ur refusal after the deadline u definetly deserve refund
