More points are always better. I'm even at 445 but just found an open IELTS spot on 1/20 and have persuaded my wife to take the exam. So just burnt >200 USD plus travelling cost as well. Immigration is expensive but we can earn it back. If you can try to pay for the fee then go for it.

So I'm at 445 and there's a spot of IELTS on 10/2. I need to decide fast if I should book that test for my spouse to earn 10 more points or not. She doesn't want to do it at all. Please give your suggestion. Thanks.

Trying to book an Ielts test for my spouse and the earliest date surrounding several hundred miles around me (US) is in April or May. Jesus. Canada PR rush is real.

Do you know how many nominations OINP sent out recently? Thousands? This will have a big impact on the cut off...

Hi, What do you guys do for proof of funds? I don't have any account with >20k balance but my spouse and I have around 8-10 individual accounts and they add up to >$25k balance. What is the best way to show them? I plan to make a spreadsheet showing each account balance for each month starting...

I think they intentionally don't want the score to dip to force <450 point people to go to PNP routes (55K slots for PNPs) so if you are <430 definately explore PNP options.

So from now until Jan 10 there will not be any IELTS results coming out right? Only new ECAs so hopefully for me the score is <445... Anyone can guess something?

I think they don't want to have 3 draws in a month so will only have a draw next week. 10/1 24/1 7/2 21/2 look better than 3/1 17/1 31/1 14/2 28/2 (two draws at the very end of the month).

Very cruel from them if there's no draw today. Seems they don't want the score to dip at all.
