I did both actually. Email response takes about 2 days. Call wait would be about 15 mins. 11170 is the route to get to an agent.

↑ Yes. Legalfalcon, your additional opinion on this matter would be just as appreciated. Since I am not able to tag people in the post, here is a copy of what i had asked earlier "I have been in IP1 since July 20. I am currently residing in the US. I called and email CIC to confirm where my...

    <<<<<FSW Outland - June & July 2017 AOR - Lets Connect Here>>>>>

KiranK, I have a small question. I have been in IP1 since July 20. I am currently residing in the US. I called and email CIC to confirm where my file was and was informed it is at Ottawa and this is where the final decision will be made. Just want to know, did my file go to Sydney or not? Or...

US student visa rejected without any refusal letter

Yup. I said yes, I was denied B1 B2 visa to the US in the year xxxx with no reason being provided for refusal. Full disclosure and honesty is the way to go about it.

Thank you very much! I have already ordered GCMS notes so I guess I will have to wait it out and see what they entail. Calling them would be a last resort as I know that I am within the timeline right now! But thank you for all your help! It is much appreciated.

    <<<<<FSW Outland - June & July 2017 AOR - Lets Connect Here>>>>>

I believe it is only natural to compare ourselves to people with the same month AOR as ours. Also, given others have already to to IP2, it does seem a bit alarming as to why our profiles seem to be 'stuck' even though we are well within the timeline. Im sure seniors will tell us not to worry and...

US student visa rejected without any refusal letter

Hey! So I have already filed my case and went through the same problem because my visit visa to the US was rejected twice with no reasons provided. Subsequently, I was granted an F1 visa and am in the US. In the statutory questions, I mentioned it as it is. That I was refused twice and the US...

    <<<<<FSW Outland - June & July 2017 AOR - Lets Connect Here>>>>>

Hey! No man nothing yet! Almost 15 days soon, but it depends on who we are comparing to. If we look at July AOR people, it is a little above average for us to wait this long, but if we look at people before that, they did not see any movement this early. Having said that, once medicals passed, I...

    <<<<<FSW Outland - June & July 2017 AOR - Lets Connect Here>>>>>

I do have a small query if I may ask. This being stuck in IP1, is it because of the VO not having picked up my file ? My UCI was assigned, and that's when most people received ADRs. I didn't receive any. I'm a single candidate, with not a lot of travel history. Would you think R10 is complete...

    <<<<<FSW Outland - June & July 2017 AOR - Lets Connect Here>>>>>

Thank you for the consolation. It's just that seeing many people, most with AOR after mine, moving to NA2 within a day does raise questions and negative thoughts ones head, which I'm sure is true for the rest as well. Hopefully it's a smooth transition for most as we all notice varying trends...

Well, thank you for the reassurance. I hear that usually, not absolutely, if IP1 takes longer then the Na2 time is shorter. Hope that's the case for you and all of us in IP1. Cheers and good luck to everyone!

    <<<<<FSW Outland - June & July 2017 AOR - Lets Connect Here>>>>>

I have been in IP1 since 8 days now. I have heard people usually move to NA2 on the same day. I am a single applicant etc then why is my application in IP1 for so long? Any particular reason?

    <<<<<FSW Outland - June & July 2017 AOR - Lets Connect Here>>>>>

Well, so from what I can gather and from the whatsapp group, I believe this week we will see changes being made to our profile, hopefully for most people with medicals passed last week. Good luck to everyone! Hanging in there is key!

    <<<<<FSW Outland - June & July 2017 AOR - Lets Connect Here>>>>>

So a query, which I am sure is relevant to quite a few of my July AOR Comrades. Many of us cleared our medicals on July 19,20,21 and usually, the trend is to change to NA from IP1 within a day. But very few of us have noticed that change. Is that a recent trend? Or is it just too early for most...

    IP1 wordings

My Background check reads as the following "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." My medicals have passed. Is this pre-IP1 or am I in IP1 stage?

    US-based applicants, let's connect here

Could you explain what this means? I am on OPT in the US, and if I get my PPR Can i not enter Canada? Do I still have to wait for my PR card? Also, I plan on entering via land as I can simply drive in. Why is that not possible? Or that seems so from your response.

    US-based applicants, let's connect here

Honestly, your'e lucky you have the luxury to do that. I have submitted my application as well. You know how the OPT works, so its a race against time. The US has better pay, more jobs, but if you're not going to sponsor, then technically, those weren't 'jobs' for us in the first place. So much...
