    New Delhi - 2012 applicants

Nobody, but the NDVO officer processing your file can answer those questions. Take a look at the spreadsheet and make your best guess.

Congrats, but when did you last check it before today? I only ask because I'm trying to get a sense of how often and when eCas is updated. A lot of people received updates yesterday on Monday (Canada time).

Congrats on the status change. The end is near :) The same thing happened to Oct12 too, and it came by phone a couple of days later. Most likely it'll come by phone for you too within the next few days. +1, nice to see those who have been waiting a while get their DMs. Hopefully this...

    NEW DELHI - 2013 APPLICANTS.

You belong in the 2012 thread. Post your timeline there: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/new-delhi-2012-applicants-t109821.0.html You'll notice there are a few others waiting for a PPR who have the same timeline as you. You can view the 2012 spreadsheet in my...

Thanks for keeping the sheet up to date. Your PPR as well as those of the remaining Oct and Sept applicants should start coming by next weekend. I'm expecting a flurry of DMs next week as well!

    New Delhi - 2012 applicants

For now (until you receive a PPR and a UCI for your wife), the only way to log in to the principal applicant's status on eCAS is with the application/file number the sponsor (you) received in the AOR letter from Mississauga. It should be at the top above/below the UCI for the sponsor. My wife...

    New Delhi - 2012 applicants

I don't think there is a rhyme or reason to the variation of progression in different cases. Yes, it may be possible that those who have a PPR have a simpler case after initial review. However, in many instances those who get an early PPR are waiting many months without a DM, or those with a...

My wife got it via email too half an hour ago :) Strangely enough, her file hasn't gone in process like it has for others who have recently received PPRs. Oh well, maybe it takes some time to update eCas.

    New Delhi - 2012 applicants

That's a good step! How did you receive the PPR (mail, email, or phone)? Does the application status say in process for you (if you're the applicant)? I'm not qualified to answer your question, but if your old passport is the one that you applied for sponsorship with, then they will probably...

If it's form IMM0008, everything is done from your wife's (the applicant) perspective. Question 4- New Delhi Question 1- her address Question 3- her number Question 6- her email Make sure her contact details are correct because after the file is transferred to New Delhi, all communication will...

    New Delhi - 2012 applicants

Wow, looks like they actually are changing it to in process first and then requesting a passport. Let us know when you get the PPR. If you haven't already, I would contact them if I were you because the file was transferred a long time ago. Send them a case-specific email and tell them you...

    New Delhi - 2012 applicants

Based on others' timelines, it should go to DM within a week (maybe this Monday) and you should get your passport within a week after DM. Nobody receives an AOR for the passport.

Hopefully this is how it's done from now on... status goes to in process and then the ppr comes. If this is the case, I guess all of us late 2012 applicants who haven't received a ppr yet should wait for the status to change to in process first.

    NEW DELHI - 2013 APPLICANTS.

It isn't guaranteed that you'll receive an AOR, or that you'll receive one by email. I listed an email address and the only letter I got from CIC told me my sponsorship was approved, and it arrived by mail about a week after the sponsorship approval. I didn't get any AOR by mail or email. Like...

    New Delhi - 2012 applicants

I had a similar issue in that my wife's (applicant) address on eCas was incomplete, but one of the users on this forum told me that CIC/NDVO most likely has the full correct address on file, so you shouldn't worry. If they didn't have the proper address, they most likely would've contacted you.

    NEW DELHI - 2013 APPLICANTS.

Check out the New Delhi 2012 thread. There are a lot of people (myself included) who applied in late 2012 and have had the sponsorship approved, but are still awaiting a passport request. Many people think the New Delhi visa office has changed their procedures so that they only request a...

    New Delhi - 2012 applicants

From what I've read so far, I think this happens to a lot of people. When they are about to change the status to in process or decision made for the applicant, the sponsor's status changes from decision made to in process. Nobody knows why this happens (except probably CIC and NDVO), but it is a...

    New Delhi - 2012 applicants

So many DMs and visas and status changes. Congrats to all! Still no progress on the PPR for the late 2012 applicants I guess. Maybe they did change their policy so that they only request the passport when they've determined they will be issuing a visa soon. I have a question about the address...

Thanks for the response. I'll call them on Monday since the office is now closed (past 4pm here in Vancouver). I filed on November 5 and the file was transferred on December 21. I'm a few spots below you on the spreadsheet.
