ahaa, look when u sell property in India u have to pay certain tax to Indian taxation authority right. afterwards the income u got is taxed u can take that money to Canada. n that is non-taxable(cuz u have already paid tax on that in India(there is treaty to prevent double taxation)).

why don't you check funds page on CIC. as far as i know. u cant show anything as funds until it is in the form of cash, stocks, fd, draft, TC... immovable property, car, gold doesn't come under funds
