My parent had done biometrics back in 2014 so they were exempted from new biometrics and my application's status was in background check for almost a year (2019-2020). I wonder if your parents did the biometrics for this application recently or not? Thanks

What do you see under background check on your CIC account? I tried calling but the status that is given on the phone also says the BG check has not started yet similar to my CIC account!

I did the same earlier this year around the time that they did the medicals but I got the request again... Ankara VO is a mess :mad: Even in their email address Ankara is misspelled as "Ankra"! I initially thought it's a scam email but then call center confirmed it

Try calling the IRCC call center earlier in the morning. This is how I realized that they have sent me an email which I never received. Then I emailed them that I was told that you sent me a request on this date which I never received and they replied.

No not yet; it took a few days to get PCC in Iran and now they are with the translator to get a certified translation. I will submit them hopefully on Monday.

No all of the communications have been through my email address. That's very interesting that they forwarded that email that was sent on May 24th and on top it shows that it had been emailed to me, my husband and my sister (their emails were all on my file) but non of us received that email.
