No wonder! Visa exempt country does not need a visa. The visas in queue to be printed is the reason Ottawa to be slow.

Only primary applicant's information on the pr email should be very normal, as I have seen people asked the same question. Call CIC to confirm, but I'm pretty sure it's normal. The cic would either only approve both of you or reject both of you if you two applied together as a family.

You can't have two EE application at the same time. It only works if you have 1 EE application and 1 paper based pnp application. Two same category application may results your application to be delayed.

Student visa and work visa are independent and aren't exchangeable, they can't switch identity. It depends on your own conditions to apply the visa. Under any circumstances, you have to apply for a work visa from scratch.

If that's the case, you should receive ppr in Jan at latest.

Hey, Did you receive the ppr email first and then telephone landing email, or you received the telephone landing email directly?

If your employer did not say anything that may have bad influence, your case should be approved soon. It's a good thing that at least they initiated the verification process. Others that have review required on notes waited for long for the process.
