It worked! I finally was able to access it, however, there are no more updates other than me being approved as a sponsor. Do you know if they updated it when the VO receives the papers?

Thankfully the sponsorship processing times have decreased to 66 days (it was 70 when I started). I got my approval as sponsor November 17. Now just waiting for the AOR from Sao Paulo! I am hoping for less than the 10 month process estimated in the CIC website. Did you apply inland or outland...

Congrats to the August people that got their PPR!!!! This makes us Septembrians that much more hopeful that we will see results soon. Specially exciting for me because my VO shows 10 month processing times, and Ryffas is 11 month, so I hope that they work just as fast.

They told me 4-6 weeks maximum when I called last week.

They asked me for a bunch of personal information for verification purposes, i.e. sponsors address, name, birthday, how many people are on the application, etc. Stuff the two of you should know. It is to ensure it is the correct person calling. I hope this helps.

Sorry, I thought I read in another topic that you were able too, but you are right, I just checked the CIC website and that is correct. His best bet is either ecas access with the receipt number, or calling the Visa Office. Best of luck to you! I am sorry I wasnt helpful.

Anyone else applied from Quebec from the September group? Since I got the letter, yesterday I sent my application and CSQ app to MICC... hopefully I get that approved soon too! Here is my Christmas wish: Get AOR from the Visa Office and Approval from Quebec before Xmas.... wouldnt that be...

You should still be able to call CIC even if you are applying outland, because the call centre has access to the file regardless,and they can look to see if your sponsorship has been approved, and or let you know the status of the app. I provided an email, hoping they would contact me this...
