They want a detailed one just to be sure you don't have gaps during your studies and works. If they see some gaps for almost a year or 2 I guess that's a reason for refusal.

Did you apply online? If you applied online you can see that there's a system update in your account. There you can see your UCI above your application. Also they added "Review of eligibility" and "Background"

Do you have also UCI number above the updates on your account?
