Oh wow, today's draw is very humbling! I was so frustrated last week when I learned of my IELTS negative remarking which means my CRS stays at 407 which then eliminates our only chance for an ITA in 2017. But guess what? My would have been score of 451 is still 1 point less than today's cut-off...

Yes, I actually just received the result of the remarking today and my score remains at 6.5. I suspect it is due to my paragraphing or my horrible penmanship. Just so depressing how such small difference can be life changing :(

Tried last option to increase CRS points this year by requesting for remarking of my Writing exam. Picked up the result today and sadly it's unchanged. Sitting at 407 now with the following IELTS score (9,8,8,6.5 - LSRW). Had my writing score increased by .5 my CRS points would jump to 451...

Currently sitting at 407. 2017 ITA looks bleak for us who are under 410. I can imagine how mental the waiting game is for those close to last draws cut-off! I join you in praying for that golden ITA before end of year. Will patiently wait for our turn next year!
