Totally agreed! You should go to your test centre at the time mentioned in your test invite letter. There are too many scammers who call people on behalf of IRCC these days . The safest thing is to go to your test centre at the time and date indicated.

I am not sure. But it's unlikely not providing one's email on the form delays the AOR beyond the reasonable couple of days it takes Canada Post to deliver residential mails. I'd personally not worry about not providing my email contact on the citizenship application form. Relax ! You will be good!
