From the date of the letter for the medical request, you have 30 days to complete the medical. I scheduled my medical locally, it'll be completed on the 30th day. I had the option of traveling 4 hours if I wanted it within 2-3 weeks, but I just started a new job with my OWP, so I'm hopeful...

I got my OWP in today's mail.

Now, the wait to get the actual work permit.....? I hope that doesn't take a long time. I don't think I've seen anyone comment on it

I used the UCI that was in the online account from my linked PR application, and my family name. I think you're okay to link it to whichever account you've linked the PR application to. The OWP should be under the PA's name, not the Sponsor, because the PA is the one applying for the OWP.
