I'm May 10 too.. Received additional document request (Father Death Certificate) Aug 2, already sent and waiting for further update from IRCC. eCAS still in Process since Aug 2.

Maybe they are not eligible that's why they selected this option, and selecting humanitarian option won't guarantee that their application will be processed normal time!! On the other side we can say their applications are not rejected either due to selecting this option!

Humanitarian option will only be considered if you're ineligible otherwise, In that case it will take longer to process your application!! If you're eligible processing will take normal time.

How do you know selecting option to proceed on humantarian are stuck in In process or Received?

Today I was able to check eCAS with principal applicant UCI as well, Statues: application received May 10. earlier I was able to check eCAS with my UCI# only..
