It takes at least 2 to 8 weeks from MR to PPR. So it doesn't mean you would get it in 14 or 21 days. Everybody here is expecting/waiting for PPR. So lets just keep waiting. Cheers!

It should not change our application process. But new applicants would not have to wait like us. Also, the new govt is bringing "Welcome Canada Pass" which is a five-year multiple entry visitor’s visa, would be created for individuals sponsored by Canadian citizens and Permanent residents.

I guess waiting is the only option here. But dont loose hope as there are people still waiting to receive MR.

You could make the payment using any credit card or even debit card. I paid using my ICICI Bank debit card. The currency conversion should be taken care by the payment gateway itself and you should receive a sms during confirmation of payment.
