When you book the ticket just ask for wheel chair for your dad. You don't need any medical certificate for this.

It got activated now.. says processed at ottawa at 19:10 Actually I requested visa office change for my wife.. they stamped her visa (already) in India. But they didn't send copr for my baby. So I asked about it and they mailed it with my passport (it was a mess)

I think you are right. My medical is expiring on 9th Jan .. so I guess they will give time till 16 Jan.. I think visa expiry date is always medical expire plus 7 days... let's see when I will receive my passport back
