Is it a coincidence or a food for thought??? NDVO is processing applications for NOCs related to IT (ex: 2171, 2173) at a real fast rate as proven by the SS statistics.... NOC 1112 is treated as if it will take ages to process.... Cant understand the logic behind this....

May 14th Applicant...... VO: NDVO... NOC: 1112.... PER: 2nd Sept.... ECAS updated only 1st line stating we received your application on May 14th..... No MR/PCC.... Really worried now....

HELLO, The passport number may/may not change but the old passport number will also be mentioned in the new passport in case if it changes. It wont impact your file for sure. you will just need to update NDVO once you get MR request or they ask you for any clarification on your documents...

I never said that the date mentioned on CIC's website is the true... As previously the date was 4th May, 2013..... thts completely illogical....

According to my understanding, CIC's job is completed once they issue PER/NER..... Hence, according to them, the applications are complete at their end..... So in short we can assume that the number mentioned in the cap status is based on PER....

Rightly Said, DD is preferable.... But in case if you are using CC than please make sure your international transaction limit is sufficient enuf. As most of the banks have separate domestic and international LIMITS..... All the best....
