There seems to be lot of confusion with regard to IELTS score.. FSW 2013 annoucement clearly states that applicant should score min of 6 in each module.. else you wont be eligible to apply under fsw. so that means you should get 6 in each module i.e speaking, writing, reading and listening.

We are forgetting one thing, both the agencies are there to asses your english language... period. band and format of the test/exam is same for IDP and british Council. Immigration office wont give you less marks if you have taken exam at IDP.. or will give you more marks if you have taken exam...

I sent my PP/Medicals/Landing Fee/PCC in October 1st week 2012.... still counting..

This is very frustrating and annoying that a person cant do much after submitting passports. NDVO should speed up the process and not keep passports for months.. this is a very important document/identity for anybody on this planet..

I received a reply from Canada High Commission today.. (to my case specific inquiry).. .background checks are in progress and there is no timeline in which the all procedures will be completed....

Thier response doesnt really help.. it is a standard response..

delcan: so its been 6 months for you.. i really do not understand what NDVO is upto.. this is unacceptable.. ndvo is like a black hole.. without any communication.. they do not bother to reply to your case specific enquries nor they have any turn around time once passports are sent to their office.

passports+Landing Fee+PCC and medicals were sent to NDVO in October 2012 I recieved an email from NDVO in Nov 2nd week (2012) asking details about work experience prior to 2000. I submitted the necessary documents (via Courier) the next day.. so from then.. wait is on..

This is very frustrating after submitting passports with NDVO. no clue what is happening.. atleast NDVO should come up with TAT.
