Good luck to all who got their LMO and who is still waiting. I have a question, if given a Visa to Canada for 2 years can u go back to your home country for 1 week or 2 if business starts to go slow or something. Just Curious or do i have to stay the full 2 years i have on my contract before...

I got a call from my agency on May 1st, my LMO will be ready in the next 2 weeks. Still waiting hoping everything will work out ok.

Buleg, I don't believe the lmo is approved as yet. That's what making this so frustrating. I am from Westmoreland, i did all this through a well known Agency they submit my application. i would have tell you the name of the agency but not on this forum. Thanks alot for the help!

Thanks Buleg I will be working in Alberta and i will be working as a waitress. I called the Agency a couple of times they said i still have to wait a couple of weeks, that was like the first week of April. I'm not sure what is happening at all.

Hey All, How long does it take for the processing of the lmo and work permit? Applying from Jamaica.

I am also going through an employment Agency as well, but i think it is a lot longer through them. i would really like to hear from someone who got their lmo through an agency and who applied as a food server in alberta. This is crazy long wait.....need to hear something.

Dear All, I am new to this forum and would really like to get some answers quickly, i am from Jamaica and my employer sent in my lmo application the second week of October how long long should i expect to hear from them. I am really worried please give answers soon. Oh i am applying in Alberta.
