I noticed that the activity slowed down since last week of August not only in June 2022 forum but also in March, April, May. July 2022 is lagging behind on ECAS changing to In Progress withing 40 days after AOR. Any thoughts on what's happening?

Yes in ECAS the status is In Process and was Application Received since AOR. In citizenship tracker the date is updated to July 26th and was June 21 till then

Latest status today is "Passport has been printed" so no police verification assigned for the application

My application status changed to "Passport application is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate" today morning checked around 9AM and now it shows "Print has been initiated for passport."

dont worry the status will not give true picture and confuses on the path passports move. But will be fine and will get in few days. I also seen that my wife passport status changed to ready for collection and after a day only mine and my daughters passports are ready for collection.

What I noticed from GCMS requested after approval is that Visa, COPR details are already generated and corresponding office that will handle the PPR is added as secondary office. My be that office can access application only if it is primary or secondary.
