I am March 2018 applicant. Still waiting. No pre arrival letter received, background check hasn't started yet. :( From what I have been reading here, My assumption is that recently LVO is giving pre-arrival letters and starting background checks only after 2nd medical test is submitted :mad:

Finger prints and medical is done in the beginning of the process. It doesn't mean that you are close to completion. You gotta just wait.

This is normal procedure. All Pakistani applications go to London Visa Office. Don't worry about that, Just know that this process is not easy and it is taking hell amount of time for everyone in this forum. I have completed my 12months, and still waiting for final decision.

What does that mean? My husband is my sponsor obviously and he is also Canadian living in Toronto. I hold Pakistani Passport, Its just I lived all my life in UAE. How does the process differ here?

I see. I am living in UAE. All my documents are from here. I don't know what is the issue. Does all applications go to Nova Scotia? ( I don't even know that) o_O

If you are the applicant, can you tell where are you living ? and did your case go to LVO or somewhere else? This whole process is so messed up.......

Medical and biometrics for new applicants is not all. It is done in the initial stages. After that the waiting game begins. You did your medical right? For 2018 applicants they ask biometrics a bit later coz biometrics became a must later in the year 2018. And yes LVO is extremely slow and...
