Hi vwewa, Yes I got a request to send a copy of my passport and not the actual passport. visa exempt nationals just need to send 2 photographs/ copy of your passport, bio data form and a self addressed envelope. cic will then issue a copr which will be sent back to you in the self addressed...

Yr passport will take anytime between 10 days to 3 weeks. Again it's Cic so it could be more than that too. And the copr will have a validity of 6 months from the issued date.

PP copy sent on 14 feb 2014 to Ottawa. now waiting for return tracker to get activated.
