Regarding point 2- when you are resident of a different country than India, you get PCC from the local embassy which in your case is Any Dhabi. Your don't need to travel to India for it.

Are you an approved COPR or waiting for the first approval??

I mean extension of COPR and PRV. Normally medical expires around expiry of COPR, so the main question is will they ask for a new medical or extend basis the previous one.

I I believe this is a good sign they have started working on extensions. Only question is about remedical.

I really don't think "senior" or non senior makes a difference. All medicals are valid for 1 year from the date of medical. So all applications which have not yet been approved and whose medical is about to expire are in the same boat as we are. Just for example my medical date was mid May...

So why can't they apply the same policy to existing COPR holders.

Now air Canada is again showing travel into canada only allowed for citizens, PR and their family members. Things aren't clear at all. Even CBSA showing travel for purpose of obtaining immigration services is non-essential...
